Well said Bridgie, as I said, it's far, far from a hole. a hole is a place that is dirty, dingy, run down and poor. MK (the town Centre) is art y and bright and welcoming and modern - the complete opposite of the dictionarey definintion of a hole! I'm sure that couple went to Mk because of it's good lcoation rather than anything else, or perhaps it's excellent facilities!

good Job neither me or Bridgie are Bedford people then! We both live in Fliwtick, Which is in Bedfordshire but still 10 miles from Bedford. I'm just as close to Topher in Cranfield (which is also Bedfordshire for those who don't know) as I am to Bedford.

the american national team was ranked above england according to fifa. the american programme is picking up speed as football/soccer is gaining popularity over here. and once americans realise we're not the best at something, we put a bunch of money into making it better.

watch out.

though i find american soccer dull.

I agree Sidla, like you wouldn't believe, but that's not how the majority of the English football-loving public see it, they think that we should automatically be right up the top, i think that we need to look at our national game very, very hard.

But, maybe just because we have arguably the best league in the world doesn't mean that our national team is going to naturally fall into doing well at national level.

P.s. I've just heard that Man Utd.s Chief Exc. Peter Kenyon is going to Chelsea, that's great, he weakens our team in the summer and then buggars off to our second closest rival.
