blazing saddles is a funny movie and a satire. there can be humour in using racial slurs, but all the same it doesn't make them okay. just using them is disgraceful and shows some innate approval of their use. why even categorise people? and if you do need to do so by ethnicity or nationality, use a proper adejctive. y'all ignant haters.

the way i see it is that its funny not because they are putting ppl into groups because of race etc but because the white ppl of that time actually found it acceptable.

i find i laugh at their attitude towards other ethnic groups rather than the actual racist jokes
