I think you'll find your second closest rivals (although got off to a slow start) are Newcastle. Hey, we had a slow start last season, we still finished third.

haha keep dreaming topher. people need to wake up to the fact lots of our players are very ordinary an our league is nowhere near the best in the world in terms of players. i expect our u21s to get beat tomorrow night..... although 3 evertonians may save us.

didn't the u21s get hammered by croatia? your football is almost as bad as your tennis.

I wouldn't go that far.

I don't think we've got much to worry about in terms of the national team.

We've got a great manager Sven - (who granted can be tactically naive on occasions)
We've got a reliable keeper in goal - (oh no hang on it's Calamity James from the first Division )
We've got Big Sol to rely on at at the back - (apart from when he's suspended and gifting goals to Eastern European countries)
We've got Becks and Gerrard in midfield - (apart from when their injured or suspended)
Little Scholesy behind the front two - (who hasn't scored for England for god knows how long despite regularly scoring 20+ goals a season for his club)
And up front we've got Heskey (who I can't remember scoring a goal ever) and if not Rooney (who's not even 18 and prone to the occasional injury/suspension)

Seems fine to me......

We're only good at sh*t games like Curling, and even then it's the jocks that save us.

We had some on at work for some random reason the other night and I hadn't got a clue what it was all about. It looked crap. They actually stopped play for the commercial breaks!

I don't think it makes much difference Kenyon's gone from United to Chelsea

He was obviously just offered a much bigger salary and it was too good to turn down

I don't think it'll be a big loss, remember he couldn't persuade Ronaldinho to join in the summer and paid over the odds for Veron and (less so) Rio Ferdinand

it's not as if Kenyon is strapped for cash is it

he was only on £625,000 a year at United

actually, they do the commerical breaks when time outs, fourth downs, somebody scores, or other breaks in play naturally occur. these happen so frequently and they last for roughly 2.5 minutes that it might seem like a commercial break. 2 minute warning, i don't know what that's about. as i said, i never liked american football.
