I hope he does a good job. Red Dwarf series 7 almost made me lose faith in the show. Thankfully series 8 recovered a bit.

The first time series 7 was shown through there was no canned laughter on it, which just didn't seem right. When they showed it again with the canned laughter on it, it seemed a little better.

I don't watch a lot of telly to be honest, I saw it a couple of times but never really got into it.

I just knew it would be to hard for someone not to put the lyrics up for it. The lyrics on there on own don't work as well with out multiple Rimmer's singing everywhere.

Have you seen the making of tounge tied? It took them ages 'cause Lister can't dance to save his life whereas the cat wanted to do some proper fancy footwork having been in Starlight Express. Plus they (rest of the cast and crew) couldn't believe how high the cat could sing.

EastEnders is a soap and as a general rule of thumb soaps are crap. Actually, as a general rule of thumb, telly is crap full stop, with few exceptions.
