Yeah but at least Kendra doesn't support Wednesday because they are or have ever been good. And I'm sure Topher's said before that he will follow Wimbledon when they move to MK. I don't know what excuses Bob and Hoare have, but I'm fairly confident it's not because Spurs used to be good.

Supporting a team bucause they are good has to be the lamest excuse you could come up with.

when i was a little kid my heroes were the san francisco giants. they were good, but not the best. they were also the team my parents followed and we had season tickets? did i like them because they were a winning team? no, i liked them just because that was the thing to do. i still go to their games and still support them even though will clark and matt williams are long gone. face it sidla, your rules are wiggity wiggity whack!

Not strictly true. I said if there was a footy team here when I started liking football I would have supported them. When (and if - I know there was going to be a decision today, but haven't heard the news) Wimbledon move here they will be my second team. I won't be mad for them, I will probably go to the odd game.

i have no problems with milton keynes have a team and if i lived there i would go watch them as i am a football fan. its the whole issue of moving a club like its a normal business. its just wrong. i mean you are a toon fan and will support them whatever i imagine but would you not feel weird if they decided to move to say carlisle? its just wrong.

Yes I know what you mean. I am against the principle and, as I have said before, I would be much more keen on MK council doing what they should have done 30 years ago and putting money into our own homegrown (no not weed) football team.
