Fishheads Remix Feature

Dont know why anyone else hasnt thought of this. Im sure Chris would love to hear peoples individual takes on the piece. Im sure Aled wont mind you sending mp3s to him as long as their size is small-ish for their type. So get sending them in to see what develops

doubt it. but isn't the usual protocol- eddie makes the remix, chris plays it, asks for more, and then tonnes come in.

Moi? :D I dunno what I could do to it that would be that much funnier.

Anyway, I couldn't possibly do anything in the next week or so, I've got too many jobs on.

BTW, Moped should be making an reappearance at Toyko Jos, Preston on Wed 1st October all being well....yesssshhhh!

I wont be doing it either I'm afraid. I have no time whatsoever.In my life, until now, I don't think I've ever used the word "busy" properly. In the past when I've been "Busy" I've not had anywhere near as little free time as I have now!

Like Sheldon, I don't think there's much you could do to it to make it any funnier. Unlike Clocks and Will's music that had very distinct musical riffs.

it did, a VERY distinct one. You and Kendra are both thinking if a riff in the guitar/heavy rock sense. A riff is a memorable and repeating sequence of notes and that is very clear in will's theme, The tune is nothing but a riff, a very simple one which stops (for the talking bit) and then repeats. It could be seen as one long riff (Including the breaks) or a series of shorter, sligtly varying riffs.

eddie, i doubt you would know this, but i'm actually quite a musician (both wind and string instruments) and i know what riffs are. few people use the word outside of metal heads and middleschool band directors. oh, and you.

I have played music since I was 6. I play the piano (To grade 5), The guitar at an above intermediate level, and the bass to quite a high standard. I can assure you that the word "riff" is a common musical term that can be used for both classic and pop/rock music. It has been cheifly adopted by rock music as you pointed out. It can not, however, be denied that "Will's Music" contains a riff.

I cant actually play gutair but i can play the opening riff to "smells like teen spirit" and "come as you are"
