does anybody else get a really strong feeling when they hear certain songs and have no idea why?

i just heard some of all saints - never ever and it made me feel really sicky and not good at all

i have no idea really why it does that because ive never liked or disliked the song but i'm guessing it must be related to the general mood i was in when the song was out - maybe i was going through a period of feeling like shit, but i dunno.

whats songs make other people randomly feel really good/bad inside? i dont just mean some songs that you like but you know when they really get you inside and affect your mood

I know what you mean.

There are three or four songs that really get me in either a postive or negtive mood. However listening to songs doesnt always do that to you - it all depends on how you are feeling before you get up.

Blur - Song Two, Fatboy Slim - Right here, Right now and basically the whole of the new Coldplay Album really get me in a good mood..

if you choose to not take my answer seriously fine but dont blame me for it. i may joke about b*witched, the tweenies an s club but they produce(d) catchy pop songs which cheer me up. is that not the point of the thread? if you have a chip on your shoulder dont take it out on me...

No - its sometimes hard to take you seriously though. You're pretty funny in some of your posts but other times I just think - is he being serious?

Songs like tweenies and s club certainly dont put me in a good or bad mood.

It just doesnt really fit a serious answer im afraid.

right so you want me to put a little not at the bottom of each post for the hard of thinking like you? i would say more of my posts are serious than not its just when they are its so dull no one remembers them.

Note: this post was serious.

Out of all the jungle songs, Tarzan Boy by Baltimora does it for me.

Musics a powerful thing like that. I go through spells of different moods, and theres always music that will make me instantly smile or slowly down. Songs like Coldplay, Lighthouse Family and Dido turn me all quiet (which is a good thing some must say) and reflective, they just act as reminders of things. Music like funny classics, like Scatman John or top hits of each year always remind me of good times. Things like Darudes Sandstorm and that N-Trance one.

Although I love that song, I'm glad it doesn't do that to me, since nearly every time I hear it is on a CD in the car.

Oasis - Some Might Say
Oasis - Round Are Way
Oasis - Whatever
Verve - Lucky Man
Spiller - Groovejet
Wannadies - You and Me Song
