In the last, what, month, month and a half (?), there have been 4 separate countries (5 if you include Canada) who have experienced major power black-outs, either in major cities or in the case of Italy, across the whole country.

That's FOUR major power outages, in about FOUR weeks. Hmmm, and the last time that happened was when? I smell something fishy already.

Secondly, the excuses we're being given are lame, Oh, erm, yeah, the whole of Italy was out of power because a tree fell over. I think it's bollocks.

Morals' conspiracy theory of the day is therefore this: All these countries are doing tests to see how their infrastructure copes if there's a terrorist attack on their power stations.

I reckon within the next few weeks there'll be another big power cut somewhere in Europe. Wait and see.....

It would be a bit boring without electric. No p.c., no t.v., no mobile phone, no freezer/fridge etc..... That makes me sould like a lazy guit, which i am.

IT depends when you last charged it, it would work for a while before you had to charge it up again.

The point wasn't about howlong your mobile would run for, it was about the fact that the outages seem to be too much of a coincidence and if goverments are cutting power to see what might happen should we be told?

dont blame me. I was just explaning my not so serious point to sheep. And yes we have right to know wether theyre doing it to see what might happen.

Though hydro electricity isn't really something you can rig up yourself if the national grid gets knocked out. Though saying that, there are some pretty mean garden water features kicking about these days.

I think by not telling us they think they will get a natural reaction, see what would really happen, coz if they told us then we wouldnt react the same would we?

Good to know, thanks!
