I apologise for a football related thread but its about leeds so its technically moyles related too. oh my god they are awful. i meant old monkey heid is an evertonian anyway but their defence is non-existant. seeing alan smith nutmeged by james mcfadden then nigel martyn sidestep that fat git viduka will stay long in the memory.

if leeds an the barcodes get relegated it would make my year (2004 obviously). also no marks for originality singing "you'll never be a sh*tehawk alone" (or similar) its done every week....

what makes me laugh is how many sides people say "with their history an size they are top 6". there would be so many in the top 6 relegation wouldnt be an issue.

Are they though? What the f*ck have they won/done in the last 20-30 years (apart from winning the odd cup when the year ends in a 1 or whatever that was about) that merits them being a top 6 team?

You won't see me boasting about past glories. I know a Forest fan who still brags about 77-80. I'm like 'what the * does that matter now??'

thats cos you have no past glories. the past does matter but the future matters more. the new order is on its way. oh to be back in 1985...

Bloody hell Gaspode, it really didn't take a genius to point that out.

felt it was important though. if you have a history you want it to be known. dixie dean is immortal (like the highlander)

That's exactly why supporting a team because "they used to be good" is crazy!!

Leeds wont go down. They'll stay up on the skin of their teeth*

* Please feel free to check this at the end of the season

They'd stand a better chance of staying up if they hadn't sold Kewell, he's on fire at the moment!

Someone better tell the club that, otherwise there wont be any player left.

With 60 million in debt - I think it was in one's best interest to sell Kewell. Although that only really knocked off 3 million as the other 2 million went to his agent.

True, but if they get relagated they'll probably lose more money than they made from Kewell.

Well thats the sad fact of football. But they still have the feet to kick them to success. They managed to stay up last year - why cant they do it this year? Its still very early in the season to actually say "there going down"

They have some quality players on loan with the option to buy a couple of them at the end of the season, which should help them out. Im not personally taking notice of how Leeds are doing. I suppose you only really pick it up in the news or the papers Look at Newcastle - they have a bad start. Obviously we would of never had thought West Ham would of been relegted. Its life and its football really.

Leeds have got difficult fixtures over the next month. They play Man U in the Premiership and the Carling Cup, Liverpool and Arsenal( all at home except Liverpool). A win at any of those matches would be a boost for Leeds

Its really not that hard to get a team together. Being the Leeds Manager must be the worst job in football at the moment.

They'll fight through. Hopefully.

What about being Dave Jones (Wolves manager)? bottom of the premiership, only 2 points, only 2 goals scored and 18 conceded, surely that must be a bad football job

ps i don't know how to spell conceded

Good to know, thanks!
