I've discovered that I can no longer use Freeserve because it requires a BT phone line which I don't have at the moment. What is the best ISP that doesn't require a BT line? I'd prefer something with freephone dial-up, but I'm thinking I might have to resort to a lo-call service. Can anyone suggest anything?

Yeah as all the anytime ISPS use BT Anytime...

As far as ISPS go, I'd recommend my local ISP (local as it's HQ is in Shetland). But for the FRIACO rate (100 hrs a month free call) its £20 a month...

I don't know much about computers, but before I got broadband installed a few months ago, I used Telewest blueyonder's unlimited package that didn't need a BT line. It was £14.99 a month for unlimited usage, although it might be a little more if you don't have a telewest line, I'm not too sure.

Dunno if this is what you're looking for, so disregard it if thats not the case. I did say i didnt know much!

Don't think you need a BT line for Tiscali, although I'm not sure...

I use NTL world dial up. Unlimited free access at all times, just £10 a month. You need an NTL phone line though unfortunately.

For this package you need to connect through a BT phone line, be aged 18 or over and have a valid credit card (not a debit or Switch card).

You could used to use AOL without a BT line. They may have changed it now, though.
