Love 'em or hate 'em Oasis are going to be remebered as an important band of the mid to late 90s, but unfortunately in years to come they will always be scarred by the memory of their last 3 pathetic albums, where they are ripping off themselves and so desperately trying to create another anthem. You should have quit after 'What's the story morning glory'.
i don't think noel and liam visit this board often, but if i get to speak to them again- i'll quote what you said. what bands do you like, m+l. i don't like m+l and i'm sure lot of us don't, we don't say there crap.
what's the story morning glory was a brilliant album and i rest my case on the last other three that they have done and can say as a fan that it hasn't been good for some of the songs. i don't think we will ever see another wonderwall, like you said. but we need to wait for the new album that comes out a couple of weeks.
i'd love to see what you say about the album.
does the fact that all their gigs are sold out? does that still suggest that they are as popular as ever. they have changed and grown in to family man and haven't got the same influences as before. the band has change with bonehead and co leaving.
oasis are still alive & kicking and will be for a long time.
