The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Have I Got News For You starts again on 17/10/03 but I haven't heard if they have a new host yet. Has anyone heard?

I guess it will be more guest hosts, or maybe they should try it with no host? You would have thought that they would be able to find a new presenter in year.

If they've got any sense they'll bring Angus back.

I would ever do that, even if it meant the show going off air. I agree, though.

I have noticed that they are showing old episodes from Angus on UK Gold now. Topical news.

This is crazy. When are they going to find someone permanent? Or are they just waiting for the controversy of Angus to go away?

i'd punch red ken.

sidla- i saw a bunch of the major political leaders (including half the cabinet) because i was stalking them like a mad man at the end of the 2001 election. if you tried to, you would have seen a bunch of them too. it's seriously that easy. or at least it was.

I think they've chosen to have guest presenters for Have I Got News For You on a permanent basis.

I just hope Paul Merton takes it easy following the recent death of his wife.

Paul Merton and Caroline Quentin divorced in the mid 1990s.

The wife I speak of was Sarah Parkinson. She and Paul were together since 1997 and they married this summer. She died of breast cancer in September.

I'm sure it's easy, I'm just not taken to stalking politicians.

QUIZ SHOW: Have I Got News For You
Channel: BBC 1

Date: Friday 17th October 2003
Time: 21:30 to 22:00 (starting in 5 days)
Duration: 30 minutes.
Topical news quiz with Paul Merton and Ian Hislop, joined by guest host Jack Dee.
(New Series, Widescreen, Subtitles)

I remember that when Jack was one before he didn't do too well and asked the team to be nicer to him because it was his first time. However, he is funny on auto cue so he should be good.
