its something along the lines of a guy who used to work there said to his young daughter (shes a celeb of some kind now, i forget who, i think lisa rogers(?)) that he worked at the BBC and she used to ask what it was and he used to humour her by telling her it was the 'Broken Biscuit Company' and they fixed peoples broken biscuits

i'm sure someone can find the full story somewhere

Gervais is producing The American version of The Office which should be fun. If any of the cast of Friends of Will and Grace are in the remake i will throw my Office DVD out of the window.
Who would be the US actors you would like to see play David or Gareth

Homer isnt in an office. From what i've seen of offices in america they are all on the 80th floor and are lawyers (and sometimes break into song).
