nows as good a time to get him on. he was on radio 2 this afternoon with stuart maconie plus he is promoting the series 2 dvd of phoenix nights, aled if you read this, pass onto rachel.*

* unless kay hates his guts and that will be filled under "stupid idea"

Phoenix Nights series 2 DVD is great, by the way! It's a rare instance where the second series of a comedy is better than the first series (another one of these being Bo' Selecta!) Nice deleted scenes, outtakes, "special treats" (and boy what treats!) and commentary from Peter Kay, Patrick McGuinness (Paddy), Archie Kelly (Kenny Snr) and Steve Edge (Alan). A must buy for anyone who appreciates a great comedy!

peter kay is turning on the christmas lights in bolton this year. a step up from vernon kay i think..

I think he played it over and over to the tune of 'play away' because he did not want to play Daniel Beddinefield. Wasn't someone from Phoenix Nights on his TV show (not that I watched it)?

on series 2 commentary Moyles gets a mention and its not a bad one either..so cant be that much love-lost between them

Is there any way of getting a sound clip of this without either buying it or watching it?

Can you copy sound from a DVD?

If he got a mention - then its likely they don't hate each other??

Max and Paddy the spin is coming soon but i think they should do a Kenny senior spin off, imo he is the most entertaining characters

one of the best comedies ever/animated show and it pisses all over the simpsons...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to fans of comedy

It's not though, the second series of a comedy is quite often better. I'd go as far to say that it's better more often than not.
