I think we all knew that Dave would go to the breakfast show. Afterall, Chris and Dave have been together on the air since 1997, I'd doubt they would change that. Dave is almost like the co presenter than just a member of the production team. Is Dave not also freelance like Chris?

Dave writes for other shows as well as The Chris Moyles Show. Can't remember which shows to be honest.

I didnt think Chris was freelance - but im certain Dave is.

IIRC, When they got free vouchers a while back Aled and Will couldn't accept them cos they were BBC staff but Chris and Dave could so that implies they aren't staff.

Chris and Dave are both freelance as I remember them saying it on air recently. Aled and Rachel are both staff.

Also, as for Dave's work - in this Radio Times article it says he has written for the saturday show
