That's scary. And incomprehensible, did you say little? My middle name is my Dad's name, I don't like it either.

In the village I used to live in there is kid called John Hobbs. Trouble is his Dad is also called John, as is his Dad and as was his Dad before he died. That's just ridiculous.

i think people with names like john paul bumhead VIIIth are just whack, as are all those named the same before them. being named after an aunt/uncle or grandparent seems class.

I'm always glad my parents broke my family's "tradition" of naming the first born son William. As my Dad was second born son to his parents he decided it was up to his older brother William to carry on the tradition if he wanted. He didn't either.

My middle name is the same as my Dad's first name but I quite like it. Only annoying thing is my initials are the same as the tory leader.
