The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Here is the final tracklisting I’ve come up with. I’ve read all the posts and tried to put bits and pieces from each in. It’s mainly from 92-97 although there are a few exceptions that I felt were so good they had to be included. People may moan and say that “they weren’t really part of the Britpop scene” but it is a compilation and no compilations are perfect.

says the man who has most now albums. now albums are too inolved in what the charts are doing to worry about what the proper music fans want. what you want is albums like 'the album'

yeah, You've got to have some Cast on a Britpop album. Finetime or sandstorm I suggest.

I would have put Shed 7's Going for Gold or Disco Down on it rather than Chasing Rainbows.

i hated cast with a passion. especially that "walkaway". more suicidal song than most of radioheads back catalogue.

When did East 17 become E17? Was that when Brian Harvey got sacked, or when he was reinstated and Tony Mortimer left?

people in london normally say east 17 or north west 12 as opposed to the actual letters. dont know why.
User avatar

Probably because that's what the letters stand for.

East 17 were called that from 1992-1996
The returned in 1998 with Each Time in 1998 under the name E-17 so they werent always E-17.
