Bearing in my mind Chris (the person who runs this site) doesn't have a bean to spend on running any of this site. i.e. the Server. I think the site doesn't do badly all in all.

The reason for that is the stop-the-server-crashing measures I put into place. When the main server comes close to dying, it starts throwing people to this one (which has much less traffic, and much more capacity).

Ideally the place needs it's own server .. but that obviously costs.

I had noticed that actually. Came onto this server quite randomly the other day. I'm not sure why it was under heavy load, it hadn't been mentioned on Radio 1 from what I could hear.

What i meant on the money side was that this site generates no profit and so any money put in promises no return.

I had to move eryc.co.uk because I kept crashing the shared server, reseller or dedicated hosting is pretty cheap now a days.

Anywho, don't want to turn this into a hosting discussion, so here I am, a newbie expecting a long post of explanations.

I'm only saying that cheap MAY not be what Chris Harris is looking for, i know that many people wouldn't be in a rush to spend out money on a regular basis for something they won't make money on.
