Big Brother house will be split in two

The Big Brother house will be split into two on Saturday night.
Five of the housemates will live in the "rich house" and five in the "poor house."

Which housemates live in which area will be decided by this week's task, which is a basketball hoop challenge.

The first five housemates to score a basket will be the winners, the others the losers.

It is up to the housemates to decide the order of shooting.

As soon as the task has been completed, the winners will be asked to go to one bedroom with their belongings, and the losers will be sent to the other and ordered to remain there until further notice. When they open the bedroom doors the housemates will be faced with a house divided by glass bars.

The rich side will have the comfy sofas, the luxurious bedroom, the swimming pool and the kitchen and wet room. They will also have £400 housekeeping allowance and hot water in the morning and evenings.

The poor side will have basic furniture, an outside wood burning stove on which to cook and an outside toilet and shower.

The poor house will have the chickens for eggs and the vegetable garden with which to supplement the basic provisions provided by Big Brother. They will have no housekeeping money and no hot water.

The housemates will be divided in this way for at least one week. This week's task will be broadcast live on Channel 4 at 10pm tomorrow night.

After the live task tomorrow night, Big Brother is going to divide the House in two with a 'luxury' side for the winners and a 'poor' side for the losers.

Many of the housemates thought last week's entertainment quiz task too easy, so Big Brother has ensured that this week's is harder - and there's far more at stake.

The group will be presented with a basketball hoop challenge.
