It's awful. They say they have the exclusive first play of the Darkness' video yet they only played 10 seconds worth of it!

by the way on LivingTV today (i know im a sad bastard) i watched psychic live and who was on it but Ana Boulter who came on to tell about her dream about a man sitting down at the bottom of her bed and her telling him to go away and then it disappeared. plus shes a more red than brown hair colour and shes gained a stone in the cheeks.

The main factor for me why the 'all new' Top Of The Pops was rubbish was down to the music being pure bubblegum pop and a lack of variety.

Where were the likes of Radiohead, Belle and Sebastian, the White Stripes and Starsailor, who all had records that charted last Sunday.

Where were the likes of Muse or The Thrills or King Adora or The Coral who have got singles coming out either this week or next?

Anyone else see a connection in the general type of music excluded from the show?

I think the Darkness video is on BBC Three.

The bloke was okay, just a bit blank. The bit where the phone went wrong was just embarrassing, he was not too good at padding. Blazing Squad and westlife where just crap, I didn't know people still liked Westlife. I found it a bit bizarre how they don't bother to count down the top 20, it was just on screen during a video. Kelly Osborne and Gareth Gates are two of the weirdest looking people I have ever seen, they both need hair cuts and Kelly really shouldn’t get her cleavage out. Why where all the cameras at knee level pointing up at the lights? The studio seems all 'smash hits' and the font is hard to read. A hour is just too long, maybe it will be better next week. Based on tonight, I preferred the old format, but wait and see.

Its a little unfair for those who don't have Sky Digital for example to put some of the better Videos on BBC Three.

I must admit there are a few things I didnt like when I was watching. At one point I noticed the whole crowd suddenly just start moving towards the Kylie stage, which looked pretty damn awful.

The way he was saying his cues (I dont know how to best describe it to be honest - almost pauses after each word) and delivering, it just sounded a little unnatural. Why on earth were those Girls standing outside as if they'd just turned to see Blazin' Squad. Gareth Gates new song was okay and found it hard to ignore Kelly Osbourne's breasts whilst watching the TV..

Apart from that it was good. Nice set.

Surprisingly no. They were pretty hard to miss if you were watching totp.

she is bit of a crap presenter admittedly on mtv, though you just have to look good which is the main thing on mtv. she sort of co hosts trl with dave berry while tim "vacant" cash does the news.
