Was good. Hope tomorrows is equally as good or better to wrap it up nicely. Least they didn't mess it all up, they could of gone a bit over the top but it all seems to have fitted in well. When i heard Brent had released a single before the show i thought they could of taken it too far and ruined it.

Got Series 2 for xmas on dvd. Ricky Gervais is crazy, in the extras he is just messing about while Stephen Merchant is writing and editing.

I thought it was brilliant tonight.

Keith's face when Brent told Neil to look at the workers he was talking to was class.

Also his ideas for the wet t-shirt competition at the xmas party and the last bit with david getting drenched were genius...

Yes, Brent’s single was the best. That has to be the first traditionally funny moment in the series.

I wonder if Brent will die? And will these two episodes go on DVD? It would be a short one.

However, Gervais just seems like a twat in real life. I don't say that because he hates Moyles or anything, he just seems like the real life David Brent, and just as embarrassing.

Was it worth cancelling? The end as I was expecting was the best. I must be getting better at predicting what happens in these comedys. Nearly guessed the OFH end the other night and got it right tonight. Then again it was quite obvious Dawn would come back.

I thought she would come back to start with but then I changed my mind when watching it thinking she'd gone too far, then she did come back.

Good ending overall. Even the people in the office were laughin at his jokes instead of at him by the end. Lets hope they don't spoil it by doing a Christmas speical every year and then in the year 2023 tell us it was all a dream of David Brents whilst he was working on the tills in a supermarket.

I thought tonight it was fantastic again.

quote of the show - "can we please not talk about my dead mothers breasts".

Best Bits - the last bit with the photo, the tim/dawn jokes on gareth and when Brent saw that fat woman outside the party and thought it was his date. I'm glad Dawn and Tim got together in the end.

Am I right in thinking that the girl who plays Dawn is Jasper Carrotts daughter?

I think they should leave it alone now. It was a great ending and everyone in the office is happy so leave it. Souns like it was a fairytale now.

You are right in thinking that. I can't remember how I found out but it is.

She said it on the 1st series DVD.
apparently keeps getting asked "when did you change her name from Carrot"

Apparently people dont understand it was jasper who changed his.

she has loverly knockers.

best bit was brent explaining how they had misrepresented him last time an that he did a great version of no woman no cry an "the office black guy" liked it..
By David
#132761
the whole black guy with the woman fancing him "I like black men" in the last series was funny.

DJ Keith. Need I say more.

The whole episode was great. Well worth staying in to see.

I was expecting something a bit more exciting near the end... like Brent being killed or something. The impression I got was Gervais was completely closing it so there was no way it could return.

He could not have killed him off, people just wouldn't have liked it. I'm guessing, like me, you all think it ended well?! I think the reason it ended well was because everyone was happy - it's what you wanted to see. You would have not come away remembering the good things if something bad, like Brent dieing, had happened....would you?

I think Tim's quote about coming back in 10 years time summed it up, how there life will still go on, even without the cameras. Actually, if they were ever to do another, leaving it 10 years and then seeing what everyone was up to would probably work really well.

Oh my god i dont think they could have ended it any better, all hail Gervais and Stephen Merchants writing. I was nearly celebrating when Brent said to Finchy "why don't you f*ck off" I'm upset that the Office has finished but delighted with the way it ended. Gervais is the best comedy writer at Present.

yes that is very true. I didnt mean that I wanted Brent to be killed off, I liked the ending, I was just half expecting something like that.

she does. never really found her that attractive before but I did last night...

I disagree there. Whenever I've seen him on TV shows such as Jonathan Ross I've always thought he was quality, and at the National TV Awards the other week he was brilliant. His XFM show with Stephen Merchant is funny aswell...a bit too random sometimes though.
