The weather is very very windy and bitter (I see 41 mph on the BBC, but I reckon it's more than 50 by now), so I am only making it to a workmates house at the end of the road, and will enjoy watching Only an Excuse and Chewin the Fat, while probably getting rather tipsy.

I dunno. I didn't see it. I DID see Jools Hollands hootenanny though on BBC2 (pre-recorded) and Chris was a guest in the crowd in that. Jools just talked to him about the breakfast show and having to get up at 4.30 every day...

It also snowed here. Taxi was rather late aswell so was pretty cold stood waiting for it, especially when you had slipped and was wet all down one side...

Last night was a fairly good whack in my local, my brother sat at home and got completely paraletic (that term is bandied about too much - but he really was paraletic), by the time my mum got home to him from the other pub he couldn't stop vomiting and was shaking like a bastard. We had to put two quilts on him in bed... But then again he did have cider, lager, bacardi and vodka among others... I'll learn him.

The end of the night almost ended in a bit of a rimble as well, lots of people nearly got hit, my mate Lee was pissed and you don't wanna mess with him when he's got the hump.

I ended up not watching the BBC one thing but this aswell. Very good. I love the guy from the Manic Street Preachers version of Chris Farlowes Out Of Time... it's on that War Child album.

I think he's on his last legs. It can't be much longer. The only problem I have with that Hootenanny show is that it's pre-recorded and as a result just doesn't seem as good as when you thought it was live....the bbc must have to plan so badly to make it go out at the second it's supposed to...
