I saw the new advert for Chris's breakfast show on BBC 2 last night.

For anyone who hasn't seen it it's basically some coc kney binman saying he can't get through the morning without Chris Moyles. Then it shows snippets of him doing the bins with Chris encouraging him, Chris popping his head up out of a bin and Chris telling a passer by to pick up some litter they've just dropped. That's it really, then it just shows the radio 1 logo and says 'the chris moyles show - weekdays 7-10am'...

yeah, it was on after room 101 (must have been around 1am). I thought it was ok but nothing special. By the sounds of it the other ads are just as bad, although I hope Mark and Lard have done one because there's will no doubt be the best...

I saw Cox's this morning, not great, certainly doesn't make me want to listen to her show. That man looked rightly scared.

I don't think for his own show (although I might be wrong). He was on the Radio 1 Summer ones in 2002 with coxy in nottingham.

Not seen Coxy's new advert but I saw Colin and Edith's yesterday. Are there adverts for all daytime R1 shows going out or just moyles/cox/colin +edith..?

Cox's one features her getting in this bemused blokes car and 'helping him get home faster', by taking short cuts through fields, ushering children quickly across the road etc. It's okay I suppose. It has I Believe in a Think Called Love in the background, which doesn't really fit, and I am sick of that song now.

My sister hates Mark and Lard because she says that they "constantly talk and never play any music" but she likes Moyles. I thought it was a bit hypocritical considering I think Moyles talks more. My brother in law also hate Mark and Lard and he switches over to local radio. At work they wouldnt put on Radio 1 because they didnt like Mark and Lard. So not everyone likes them.
