wow! i've seen most of those! vicar of dibley is not funny and i wonder why it was made at all. i used to love yes minister (and yes prime minister) though that shouldn't be much a suprise. i'm hooked on fools and horses now, i just need to see more episodes. i'm going to have to mull this one over.

if any of Blackadder, Porridge, Open all Hours or Dad's Army wins I'll be happy. Phoenix Nights and Partridge would already be in my top five now though.

I wouldn't say Phoenix Nights is a sitcome as such.

Similarly, I would like any of Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Dads Army, or Fools and Horses. I like Dibley, but of those classics it's certainly not the top.

Not really a sitcom, but I watched Red Drawf for the first time in a while. Its the one where they go on a search for an curry and end up changing history.

It's going to be either Blackadder, Fawlty Towers or Only Fools that wins it, but I hope that it's Blackadder.
If that wins it could conceivably get another series commissioned. It's doubtful Fawlty Towers would and we're likely to get Only Fools episodes every xmas until the end of time anyway (despite them saying every year that it's the last one).

Blackadder is a great comedy, but again I don't think I'd like to see another series really. I'm almost certain it wouldn't be anywhere near as good.

I doubt it as the 2000 special brought it up to the present day, so they would have to have it set between 2000 and 2004. It wouldn't happen.

Yeah it probably won't happen, particularly if the rumours are true that Rowan is going to be playing Voldemort in Harry Potter, he'd probably be a bit too busy.

red dwarf dvds are worth it for all the extras you get.

i think the reason why people think office and phoenix nights arent comedy is because they dont have the annoying canned laughter.

I had the misfortune of seeing that Jonny English thing a couple of months back. It was shocking. Only good thing about it was Natalie Imbruglia...

I've been watching it on BBC2 all over Christmas and I really do need to get a series on DVD. It's quality, although most people I know hate it. Number 18 on that rundown is quite respectable though...
