i know one bit of useless technical radio broadcasting information. When a dj talks then raises the audio track level in between his sentences, its called 'fader wanking'.

An accent doesn't have to be a bad thing. Ricky Gervais bristolian accent is perfect for his style of comedy. Slow....pause...meaningfull...sincere....punchline.

Saying that, has anyone heard the colin lee morris fellah on xfm? His rapid westcountry farmer on speed speech patern makes for difficult listening even to someone familiar with the accent.
