hello

Moyles is undoubtedly great in the mornings. However, Im sure there's a wealth of talented future radio jocks on this forum.

Without breaking copyright codes and suchlike, would anyone like to share (by posting) humourous student radio shows? Im part of a newly formed station here in Belfast NI and I'd like to share our shows with other like-minded people.

Click my profile to PM or email me. Even if peeps want to network or whatever.

cheers! :D

disclaimer: if sharing a copy of your student radio show breaks any radio codes/laws etc. then dont get in touch.

a tad assumptious aren't you UglyBob? yes Ludwig van beethoven's 9th symphony is top of our chart this week.

:?

are you finished taking out your 'issues' on a complete stranger? 8O

actually, I control almost all music we air so saying such a stupid remark is taking the piss out of me. Im a final year student and I have a very open mind on the type of music we air..from all aspects of quality commercial tracks to underground and less well known. from pop to techno, hip-hop to rock.

we have no funding but we operate because of our love of music and the radio medium. a lot of us are club/bar DJs and use our own equipment 8)

Well, every DJ has their own style, and having a different and new style will get you somewhere. I take Moylesy as an influence ;)

Teen Spirit is their only decent song, and it's overplayed.

Come As You Are is my favourite - I agree that Teen Spirit got overplayed.

Which hospital in Sheffield do you work at? I live in Sheffield, but can't say I go to the hospitals often.

yeah but thats hardly a new style.

Hoare as a truely unique style. Coming across as a bit of a plank, isolating a great deal of the potential audience. No-one has ever tried that before....

originality is dead. mimicary is king.

you were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off.

I can think of five NHS ones, but I notice crap like that. I went to the Hallamshire once to see someone and I don't think there was any student radio. You had to pay to watch TV!

I think I am original in that I don't have a radio show.

Moyles isn't orignial. The breakfast show is in essence a hybrid of whale, wright and mayo
