"Apart from the wonderful Mark and Lard, listening to two people doing it together just doesn't work for me either," he says, presumably still on message, and not about to reveal something a little tastier.
"Again, as a listener I feel like I'm excluded, and that there's too many private jokes that the listener's not party to. My show is going to just be me, a mic and the audience. Nothing in between,"
What a bizarre interview. Is he not insulting JK and Joel a bit there? And almost all radio shows are Zoo like now, even Terry Wogan who is very popular. Or Steve Wright, who has about 20 people on his team has a 20% audience share.
