I like the character but the show is a primarily one joke stretched out. Saying that the episodes I have seen have been funny (skipper the baby eye, genious) but I think there is greater scope for the chracter. Fingers crossed however, it may go the way of Alan Partridge in which there will be many different series utilising all the characters hang ups.
