Gravy and chips is gorgeous. When you go to pubs for lunch and you have steak pie with chips and peas, you've got to have extra gravy for the pie and chips.

In Leicester there's a place called Marios (not far from Narborough Rd) that does a thing called a tray mix - you get a tray of chips, and you can have Gravy, Beans, Mushy Peas and Curry sauce - all for about £1.50. They're fantastic. (You can opt out of any toppings you don't like and have more of the others too, but who on Satans earth would want to?).

I know Marios well, but never knew they had gravy. I still wouldn't have tried it though it sounds grim.

You might be interested to know, Mario's has now diversified. First came Mario's Restaurant, now there's Mario's Bar too.
