i was gonna watch it coz i heard him this morning saying he was gonna present and award but i've been out all night.

His silly story about aled tieing and gagging an award presenter in a cupboard and dave changing the autocue so Moyles would be able to get on stage at the Brits was v. funny.

When Moyles got to the stage he acted as though this was true, which was quite funny. As he went on, he did seem to be trying too hard to be funny and outrageous, seeming a bit David Brent at some points, but he was a lot more interesting than all the other dull-arse presenters on this mockery of a sham of a mockery train on a one-way track to shamville.

It was obvious he was presenting an award when he was saying all that stuff baout Aled gagging someone in a cupboard and Dave changing autocue but the story was still funny.

I'm sure its repeated sometime

the reaction from the audience was quite noticable. well unoticable.

The exec portion of the room booed him. Altough most music execs are * who are most willing to jump on then beat the living shit out of a bandwagon. Untalented *.

However, on the other hand the 'regular' audience didn't react all to well to moylesy. Might have been my hearing or muffled audio.

However it was probably the former considering his reaction towards the end.

In general the crowd seemed shit, pre occupied with bright lights or something. I could gather 8 friends (just) and make louder noise wake up your on the brits for * sake.

I thought Chris made an arse of himself but at least he put in a bit of effort. All the other dullards presenting just read a name out and hurried off as soon as possible (mel b apart of course). At least Moyles had the bottle to try and actually do something. However starting off by announcing your to blame for Mysterious Girl being re-released isn't really going to endear you to your public much.

Most of the right people won the awards but was it just me or were most of the performances really that sh*te?

I must be getting old in my young age as I thought the best performance by miles was Jamie Cullum and Katie Melua.

The best bit though...

Anyone know when it's repeated?

I know I say this now..but I was actually thinking earlier I bet Moyles actually does present an award after his little plan...Someone might believe me..

I think Muse were good as well, although I would have liked to have seen Cat Deeley and those c*ck rockers The Darkness implode on stage together.

I believe you, it was obvious. Sara Cox (host of brekkie show at the time) has presented the Radio 1 voted brit the past few years and after Chris said today he HAD been invited after all, and also said "You might see me on the telly later" it kind of gave it away.

It's repeated 9pm Thursday on ITV2 BTW.

He didn't make an arse of himself that much. I didn't hear to much booing either but he did go on that tad too long. The American's in the audience reaction to Mel B was hilarious, they didn't know what was going on! IIt was obvious Chris was presenting an award as I said earlier.

Some one with lots of free time on their hands could record the Moyles bit and upload it to the site. I really can't stand watching award shows, I take it I didn't miss much?

Plus todays Daily Star said he was gonna be presenting an award...

That aside, wasn't too bad a show.. Outkast and Beyonce's "collabaration"... Just 2 songs after each other.. o_O

Thought Moyles done well, the show overall needed more humour and controversial bits though.

Have to agree with MC, Cat Deeley stradling the Champange bottle 'gud mornin!' and Beyonce looking hot as normal.

You could tell Chris was presenting the award because when Cat Deeley was talking he kept looking up and then when she finsihed he did get up and walked away before the camera could cut off.

I thought that to, especially when he said on the show that he could present the Best Breakthrough as it was voted for by radio 1 listeners, Coxy did present it last year aswell.

i thought chris did a good job tonight he is always over the top when he's on tv, i got used to that while he was on five

i found live with chris moyles difficult to watch at times because his audience werent laughing but i was maybe because most of the in jokes were there for his listeners as with the brits the audience found it funny the celebrities didnt some people dont get his humour

and i didnt hear any booing the audience were cheering and screaming he did his fans proud

What was that first out fit she was wearing? She looked like a crow.

If it's going to be repeated then someone let me know when it's on and I'll record the clip of Chris presenting the award for the site.
