I think someone should invent salt dispensers just above car wheels, so when it snows you can turn them on and melt the snow away.

Why should that stop you? Anyway, aren't you in Shetland? I thought everywhere that doesn't have to be reached on a ferry was walking distance from you.

I don't know how much the insurance is... as my dad added it on to the car as a birthday present! I didnt want there to be any snow as driving in icey conditions for the first time may not be good :D

I dont know what would be easier, driving in Shetland or driving on the motorway...
