I was very tired when I heard this, so maybe I was imagining it. And apologies if its already been posted.

But right at the end of todays show, just before the singing outro, Chris says "and yes, the rumours in the paper about me and my girlfriend are true."

Anyone know what they were?

RADIO 1’s CHRIS MOYLES has forked out £15,000 on a top-of-the-range Mini Cooper S for girlfriend SOPHIE WAITE’s birthday.

It must have cleaned him out because on Saturday he treated her to an evening at the bingo in Camden, north London.

Moylsie’s old sidekick, impressionist JON CULSHAW, was out for the night too, with a few other close friends of the couple.

I reckon it’s only a matter of time before Chris pops the question. But not at a bingo hall, please.

That is a backwards way of thinking. I guess rules are set for a reason so breaking them would generally be a problem, if not what would be the point in the rules to start with..
