They realised a half decent album. Yes his death is tragic but it doesn't make his music better.

In my opinion Nirvana were amazingly overrated. I'm glad the bum-chinned whinge shot himself but I think that they only so "inspirational" because he is dead.

I stand by what I said, I don't think there's too many rock fans on this board (although I may be wrong), which is perhaps why this thread has gotten the reaction it has. The thing is that Cobain's name belongs up there with the greats - and would do if he was still alive.

i am what yo would call a rock fan i suppose. i like nirvana and have their best of album. they were just good at what they did, which was grunge.

i find it something of a testement to their success that 10 years later on a completely unrelated message board for a radio DJ a thread has been started about them.
