Vernon was on Ediths show for the last 30 minutes, then her bit ended so Vernon took over... nothing more than a change of shows.

I wouldn't call Feeder bland. Radiohead, fair enough; Muse, possibly, but I did think Comfort in Sound was a fantastic album.

I only really started listening fully when Mills was presenting, I was still half asleep when Edith was on and I cant stand Vernon's daft accent.

There was no REM, shocking. I requested Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight too, no such luck.

I was stuck in a queue for Air at Alton Towers while Mills was on. I would have gone mad if it hadn't have been for the radio on my phone.

I love Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite, that's my favourite REM song I think. Good choice Sidders.

feeder, stereophonics - yes bland
radiohead, even though i dont like them, and muse arent bland.

Muse are in no way bland, Absolution and Origin of Symmetry are really diverse great albums and their live performances such as the Brits are class.

REM are truely great, how on earth they didn't get on...I requested Great beyond, pah, and they didn't play it.

At least everyone has got over the "Feeder are a great band cause their drummer topped himself" phase. I'm not a fan.

I don't believe there ever was that phase although I won't deny it has happened with other bands. I seem to remember Feeder being bigger before the guys death.

I liked them after I saw them at V2000, but they've gone downhill since then. Buck Rogers was their finest hour.

remember when chris played it when it was first released, and they changed the words to "get a house in Yemen, drink cider from a lemon"
By Eddie

Well, they didn't change much cos the actual lyrics are "Got a house in devon, drink cider from a lemon".

Apparently, drinking cider from a lemon is an old fashioned method of drinking cider!

yup, should have said word instead of words really.

in all honesty i was unsure about lemon. i didnt know if it was lemon or drink cider from eleven.

It's definately Lemon - I remember Jo Whiley phoning up Grant from Feeder to check wth him as it sounds so odd. It was him who explained about this odd way of drinking cider!

I'll never forget those teenage nights down the bus shelter with a few mates and a couple of bottles of Quite Frightening!! Ahhh the good old days. I vomited in almost every street in my home town!

I dont think Jon Lee killing himself made any difference in feeders popularity
