Avid is just another character. That's like saying the kelly Osbourne character on Bo Selecta performs the Vernon Kay character.

And he says it how Vernon actually says Hollyoaks anyway.

From what I can work out from your poor sentences, I'd say you are wrong. Avid pretends he doesn't do the masks, I'm sure if you download the interview from the sound vault he actually said he doesn't to Chris when asked. Leigh Francis does actually do most of the masks though.

And Chris' impression could just be an exageration of how Vernon does say Hollyoaks and have nothing to do with Bo Selecta.

I don't think there is any doubt the impression is a direct take off of Bo Selecta as in reality Vernon Kaye does not prenounce 'Hollyoaks' in the way Chris or Leigh does. But anyway I thought we argued that point ages ago

He interviewed Avid. I don't think Leigh has ever done an interview as himself.

There's a bit in the documentery on the Series 2 DVD where I think he talks as 'Leigh', but he could just be putting on a silly accent... not sure
