There are so many forums out there, it takes a long time to really build up people. A little patients doesn't do any harm. If you want it to become successful, YOU have to go and find the people to join.

May I suggest you just join loads of boards, contact people with similar sites or forums asking for advice or if other people are interested in join? Okay, you've done that but have you asked anywhere else apart from this forum?

All in all, I like the forum. Just try and find a gap in the market and cater for it. I give you an example of Yahoo Fantasy Football - someone set up a forum with which caters for people playing the game. It has only just started and he's got about 1000+ members with about 200+ people logging on each day..

Not even here manages that..

i think i've done quite well- my first post pissed people off people the usual " i'm new" topic--which i didnt know had been done millions of times on this board.
since then i've created topics and a poll and mentioned things that has got people talking
so i may have pissed 2 people off trying to be funny- with this crowd-it could've done worse.
