Watching on Channel 4 last night and I noticed they've started the quick showing of the logo. Its only a couple of seconds but its def. quick. Subliminal would be the word.

Didn't really get into the last Big Brother that much. Was just wondering if people are looking forward to this year's Big Brother and if they will watch it. They haven't really realised much about and are keeping fairly quiet by the looks of things.

Does anyone know when it will start and for how long? 9 Weeks?

Yep! 28th of May.... and this years is going to be the sexiest! with a comunial shower!:...

Taken form The Sun
By JOHN COLES

THE new Big Brother series is set to be the steamiest ever with a see-through shower.

Modest housemates can hide their blushes with a button that frosts the glass.

But producers hope contestants bare all for the cameras after the last series proved a washout.

The king-size shower room has been built big enough for romps with two or more people.

The Sun has had a peek inside the house as it nears completion for BB5 at Elstree, Herts.

As well as the shower theres an outdoor jacuzzi, pool, love nest and MUDBATH.

Single-sex bedrooms are replaced with one big room, temporarily separated by a screen.

Identities of would-be housemates are secret but a Romanian asylum seeker is among the 40 shortlisted before the final 12 are picked.

He is in his 20s and has an unusual sense of humour.

A Channel 4 source said: The auditions this year have been more exciting than a lot of the footage from Big Brother 4.

Weve had naked men, topless women and groping couples.

Some are willing to do ANYTHING to get on TV.

Another source involved in the building of the house revealed: It seems really small and cramped. The programme makers are hoping that will lead to a lot of close contact.

I dont think theyve got an allotment or chickens like before.

Human behaviour specialist Pete Cohen said: This Big Brother will be the most likely one yet to give viewers some in-house sex.

The new series begins on Friday May 28.

I've only seen the one with Kate as the winner and Brian winning, couldn't be arsed with the other two, don't know if I can be arsed with this one yet.

Yep, its true. Sorry to break the news.. You heard it hear first? You'd think after 4 series, there's no stopping them. :)

Mental note for Topher: Avoid Channel 4 - morning, afternoon and evening for the next 10 weeks

Euro 2004 will take over for the start of it so you can ignore it till July at least.

Same here. I have a bit of a problem with the Channel 4 scheduling for May 28th though. I know from a TV audience perspective it makes great sense for BB to launch on the same night as the last ever Friends, but to me Channel 4 should have had a special "Friends night"...or at least have shown a bit of a documentary about it beforehand (instead of BBLB).

Let's just hope everyone makes it through tomorrow fine. It'll be just our luck that <insert key member of the england team> will break a leg. I'm also going to England v Japan in a couple of weeks so here's to hoping Sven will play his full strenth line up in the warm up games.

Yeah right, impossible as my housemate will be watching. However, I have been told that they have a contract to do it for five years, so maybe if this one flops, it will be the last.

no doubt there will be a radical 2004 remix of the theme tune... which will sound exactly like last years only with a little triangle noise at the beginning.

Big Brother executive producer Phil Edgar-Jones has confirmed the new Big Brother will be the nastiest yet!

Rumours began to fly as to what was coming, after adverts were shown on Channel 4 quoting, "Black Friday cometh," "From friends to enemies" and "Black is beautiful."

It has become apparent that producers have picked contestants who will not get on, and have made the house 'difficult to live in'- in the hope that they will "clash, bicker and fight." Shock evictions, difficult tasks, harsh penalties and twelve "very socially different" housemates will hopefully make BB5 the most entertaining yet- especially after the failed attempt to go 'back to basics' for Big Brother 4.

“We have a few nasty surprises in store," said Edgar-Jones. "I wouldn't want to go into the house this year."

I thought Black Friday was channel 4s night devoted to black culture...

The 'Friends to Enemies' idea thing could back fire if they all get along.
