It was very surreal to hear Chris play Janice Long jingles. He clearly hasn't listened to Radio 2 very often; they say "This is 88-91 FM, Radio 2 from the BBC" then play the news jingle, nothing about the 'newsroom'. You can probably tell I don't like Radio 1 very much.

Fairly good show, though. They where not too tired this time.

I don't quite know why Moyles flying out to Portugal for Euro 2004 has made it on to Ananova but here we go:

Moyles flies flag in Portugal

Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles is joining the England football squad in Portugal.

Moyles and the Breakfast team are decamping to Portugal from Friday, June 11 for the European Championships.

The breakfast show will be broadcast live every weekday from the Radio 1 villa until the England team return home.

The DJ said: "It's a massive football tournament for England so they need a massive radio show to go with them."

Radio 1 DJs Spoony, Comedy Dave and Chappers will also be broadcasting their shows from the villa.

I doubt I will listen as much. The last thing I want to hear as a Scottish person is some English person go on, and on, and on, and on, and on about the English football team.

I hope they get knocked out early not only for the fact they are the English football team, but also for the sake of the show.

Note: I like English people, just not the English Football Team
