Sound pack help

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of making a sound pack for the site, but all of my files are currently in *wav* format. Is there any way of converting them to mp3 files? Do I need a particular program to do this?

Sorry, not being checky but i thought when you said...

Questions or problems regarding the site or downloads should go in here

i thought it was the place to ask for questions about downloads... ie sound paks....

and i know its how to create a sound pak using wavs and how to convert wavs into mp3s.....

Must have been mistaken, sorry.

It's supposed to be a urgent-read-this-chris kind of forum. Like did you know your site has vanished? Or did you know none of the downloads work .. that kind of thing.

There's a program called cdEX which changes WAV files into MP3 (and vica-versa).

If you do a search on google I'm sure you'll find a download link :)

Sorry mate - ignore me, seem to have sorted things out. Am gonna send the soundpak to chris now to put on the site if he wants it.

I've transferred the soundpak itself to the relevant folder on my harddrive, but where do i send the mp3 files which make it up


The mp3s should be in the soundpak...

If you can give more detail on what you actually did we might be able to tell you where you are going wrong.
