Having now listened to all of Friday's show I think it was the best breakfast show Chris has done so far. I never remember writing down so much or hearing so many funny moments in just one show.

Dom was hilarious on the news link ups, the new jingles from Paul T were good, there was a great Buzz Off tune and Des Lynam story, plus that fantastic tour Chris did of the villa when he went in all the bedrooms. That "chuck someone in the swimming pool" feature also sounds like good radio for next week. Nice to hear him teasing Chappers about the breakfast listening figures too..

My only worry would be that with 20+ people in the studio every day, it might become 3 weeks of "laugh at everything he says".

I wouldn't go as far as saying it was the best breakfast show he'd done, it was good now I've listened to all of it but not the best.

Yeah, not the best Breakfast show I've heard, but definatly an improvement on Thursday. Loved the Des Lynam story.

Also RE: laugh at everything he says. I was thinking that too. Was more obvious on thursday though - like a cheesy laugh track

I have to agree with MC, I thought Fridays show was one of the best.

I am always a little warey when they go and do an OB, but from what it sounds Radio 1 have set it up very well. Yet saying that, the Road Trip to America they did a couple of years ago was excellent aswell.

However... in 3 weeks time we may be getting sick of it all.

Moyles is staying in the floor above Radio 1's Portugal studio... is it just me or when Giles Peterson comes on the air at 4am in the morning from that very same studio, will Moyles not get woken up with loud music?

Not neccesarily, I don't know how a radio studio works but won't Giles' team have headphones cos of mic feedback or whatever so therefore no need to have the speakers on or whatever they use. Who's saying Moyles wil be in bed at 4 when Giles' is on anyway?!

thats true. most radio studios the speakrs go off as soon as the mics are turned on.

Yeah, they are called 'monitors', I think. Is Giles Peterson live? I have never heard him.

I thought Friday's was okay, not the best of the year. Maybe I should listen again? It's good they seem to have a decent studio as that sometimes gets in the way when they are doing OB's from local radio so the show ends up rubbish.

The quality was much better on friday than when they normally doing a outside broadcast. I also loved the second delay when dom was doing the news !
