i recognised it as "kissing you" by des'ree from romeo + juliet - although only the background music. i think it's that song, except a "movie version," without singing, if that makes sense?

Yes it Love theme from Romeo and Juliet by Craig Armstrong, from the excellent "Space Between Us" album from 1997

Its a must for all fans of early massive attack, craig armstrong did a lot of stuff on the first two albums!
