Moyles.txt (56k) *REMOVED BY REQUEST*

Either way I dun get a mention tomorrow anyways... *shruggs 'n' grins*

I've had various private requests (on and off board) fer the script of when Chris was in the chrismoyles.net chatroom. As I stated on the quoted post it was removed due to a request that it was no longer circulated. If you have a copy then keep it if you must but please don't pass it on. I have removed both the links to my server and the files themselves and will not be sending it on to anyone.

Sorry, but I agreed to take it offline completely.

(Note: Chase-it.tv TV clip is only available from the BBC website too now)

Who made the request? I'm intrigued why a chat on a public forum should be made a secret for anyone who was not there.

I suppose it could be due to some potential language used, it could be cause Chris dun want evidence floating around he was actually on IRC. To be honest I didn't ask why they wanted the log taken offline, I just agreed.

Oh, and as I stated in channel, I'd rather not say who asked me to remove it if you dun mind...

I was there and he won't even send it to me, which I'm quite annoyed about because it's not as if I don't know what was said. I hadn't got logging enabled in mIRC, so now it seems it's gone for good. I'd have liked to keep it as a momento *sigh*

Is it now a game of anybody who has it telling everyone else they have it - just because they can? Would anyone be kind enough to forward the log to those who'd like to read it, if they promised not to pass it on?

I now have it from my cache, but I'm not giving it to anyone who wasn't there at the time.

So it looks like we are playing that game then.

Someone obviously doesn't want it distributed so it might be best for people who have it not to hand it out.

It's not that interesting anyway.

Sorry to have started this "game", it wasn't intentional.

Though like McQueen said, it's not really that interesting just two hours of some channel regulars trying to get Chris to prove he was himself.

Most notable thing from log must be that Chris decided to use the nick "Saviour", though that's hardly a shock.

The only reason I'd be interested in reading the chat is because I'd like to see how Chris was. After reading those posts he made on the newsgroups all those years ago, and more recently reading a good few posts on media forums that I reckon were made by Moyles, I'd love to see how he does webchats when he is "himself" instead of hiding behind a name.

That's a very good analogy actually!

OK, what I'm saying is this... I'm intrigued what the reasoning behind keeping it all secret is. It can't be to prevent the "public" reading it because it was public in the first place - it's not like it was a private chat or anything, because it was open to all anyway. That's what I mean.

But that analogy is very very good.
