So there I was minding me own business listening to the Show when a fellow Highland Council employee - a cook - suddenly appeared on the show talking to Chris.

"Do you know Gerry Reynolds" asked the great one. (Obviously still warmed by the memories of his trip to the Highlands to turn on our Christmas Lights)

"No" came the reply.

" You're a cook - you must know him".

The rest as they say is history.
