how did you do these calls? do you have a phone machine like R1 or did you use your PC dialer?

basically alot of microphones and lot of tape recorders, then transfered it onto computer into mp3

write in to Radio 1 asking for one, or maybe theres a BBC shop where you can buy gifts and stuff like mugs, keyrings etc...

Theres a BBC shop at Broadcasting House, or close to there anyway.

I did that too - thats how I know theres a shop. The tours pretty crap though - the shops the highlight.

The tour doesn't exist anymore - well not at Broadcasting House.

They've moved the shop down the road to:

As far as they dont sell any Radio 1 merch anyway.
