It seems that the clips in the sound vault that are hosted by Alastria don't work - they only play the first few seconds and not the whole clip

(i know i can right click and save as, but it helps to save time by just playing them through the browser)

The clips are actually hosted by both mirrors - if you don't like one, just go back and try the link again. Keep trying until you get your mirror of choice (it's random).

When I save the clips they all are called 'pafiledb.php.mp3' which is pretty annoying.

Firefox.

I guess it works alright in IE so I might beable to mess with some settings to sort it out.

It works alright in Firefox too (which is what I use).
Try a new nightly build.

i have the same problem with firefox - but i don't download the clips - i just play them in the browser

I had quicktime installed though with the default to play mp3s in the browser, so had to right click save as to save the files, and it's then it comes up with 'pafiledb.php.mp3'. I uninstalled Quicktime and it works so that seems to be the problem anyway.

Just noticed aswell the 'John Cougar Melon Camp' date/tags are all wrong. It was from years ago, not the Breakfast show (so not 2004-07-15. That was just the date I posted it here as it had never been in the vault before.)
