Jamese, that 'be rewarded' web-site in your sig doesn't deserve to be on the internet.

not to my knowledge.

Is your knowledge supposed to mean something? I mean it isn't to my knowledge that someone in Iraq just did a turd as relevant as your post.

Its funny because you never start to amaze me. Seriously do you have insider knowledge or have you just passsed the bbc building once?

I would like to state for the record I have no information on the merger of the download and regular singles chart.

I know bits of HTML & the Be Rewarded site is Under Construction if you look

* cough * http://www.htmlgoodies.com *cough*

Anyways back on topic, I read about the download chart etc on a BBC site (Newsbeat I think, but I can't find it now), and I've seen nothing else anywhere to the contrary other than on this board.

Hmmm see the date.. JUNE!

My information was something I read on BBC website and more recent and it stated downloads had been included for at least a month now, as WELL as being counted seperately.
I figured out why I remembered it as newsbeat, coz it was also mentioned on the radio during 1 of Scott Mills shows, but I'm guessing it will be somewhere in general BBC news archive.

Oh looky here
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainmen ... 846455.stm
"I think it's going to be a shot in the arm for music generally," he said. "This is not a competitor to the singles chart. It is a different kind of thing entirely.

Personally I trust BBC source over a newspaper on this one, even if the newspaper IS The Guardian.

James LOSES :roll:

Yes, I feel disgusted with myself you truely do "win". In fact I believe all readers of the Guardian are already winners.

I think Westlife will stay at the top.

But the point surely is that there may be old songs at the top, being the download chart, people do not take their files offline if they are old like shops take them off the shelves.
