Just because someone gets in the papers is no guarantee that their price will move. It's only if people decide to buy his shares, if they do then he'll move.

Dividends that you get are related to column inches, they have no relevance to the price that the share sells at.

rubbish. its all connected. if moyles gets more column inches then he will create a bigger demand as the potential for dividend increases.

If he gets onto the front page of a newspaper then yeah, naturally his price will he linked with it, but if he's just some page 10 story that nobody reads then it won't create much demand.

People who buy shares on celebdaq are irrational, someone who doesn't appear in the paper at all can manage to get their price to rise. Equally, someone who is in the paper all the time might not have their price rise.

The best example of this was a few months back when they had insanity on the site after they change the rules governing how dividends were calculated and how prices rise. People who hadn't moved for months and weren't in the papers rose in price by a couple of quid in a day.

OK, I hold my hands up and say that was wrong. His price has even moved so much that he's managed to get amongst the top 5 shares for the week.

Just to bring this back, Moyles' celebdaq shares have rose .33% and hes at the top of the movers and losers chart yet I haven't seen any press coverage on him for ages. Any ideas why his shares have rose so much?
