I dont think there are many djs who can carry a show on the own to be honest.All the top djs have producers and the ba's joining in

Exactly. To be fair Chris would be rather boring on his own. The one thing I love about Chris' show is the input from all the team, be it his sidekick or news readers, it feels like a family almost. Those who have input from those around them or a partner (Scott Mills, JK & Joel and Colin and Edit) have much better shows than those who have none (Jo Whiley). If Chris told a story without the teams input, even if it's just a laugh or a gasp in the background, it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining IMO.

Aled perhaps funnier, but neither should ever happen.

To be fair Chris would be rather boring on his own.

But when he started he was on his own, and was obviously good enough for Radio 1 to sign him up. It's because we're used to him having an on air team around him these days that it might seem weird. I wouldn't say boring though... just different.

Chappers got his own show, so I don't see why Dave couldn't do it on his own. I think they're both of equal talent.
