Cox had the worst voice ever. I used to listen to the radio whilst swimming in the morning and her voice would grate on me so much. Is she ever coming back? I hope not!

I feel "We Love Weekends" may turn into "We Hate Weekends" - no wait, other than JK and Joel weekends on radio 1 are rrrrubish anyway.

Put her on weekend breakfast. I'm never up at that time anyway to hear her.

At one point he had two million more listeners in the afternoon than when he started, so too surprising. Breakfast is more competitive, though.

I didn't mind Sara Cox, I wouldn't say I liked her, but I never really found her as annoying as everybody else seemed too.

Spoony's slot sounds right to me if she comes back, you have to admit she is less annoying than him!

Fantastic news, I have to say. It's good for three reasons:

Radio 1's listeners are now back above 10 million.
Moyles's increase
Moyles is now only 200,000 listeners behind Wogan, his rival and the most listened to show in the UK. Go get em' team!

Listening figures aren't everything - although there was an increase, which is great, it's not the case that a dip in figures would be a catastrophic thing.

I can promise you, Chris's position as breakfast show host isn't as directly pinned to achieving certain listening figures as you may think. Celebrate, but don't panic if things slide in the next set.

Zoë had a peek of just over 7 Million in 2000
Cox had an unbelievable high of 7.8 Million in 2001, when people used to like her
From memory, Evans had 7 Million at one point

Still, Tony Blackburn used to have something like 20 Million.
