Sara Cox is set to quit Radio One. The split is amicable acccording to sources and bbc executoves have cottoned on to Sara's desire to pursue new avenues. The Lancashire beauty has exclusively revealed to abititmouse.com, that she will part ways with the national radio station when her contract finishes in Febuary.

'I've really enjoyed my time at Radio 1, but I feel that I need a new challenge and have deceided to pursue a career in 19th century cotton weaving'

As from Febuary 15th, Sara will no longer be spinning discs but cotton instead.

'Cardigans, Jumpers, Tank Tops, CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM'

She will be replaced by Scott Mills, who despite the name has never worked in any for of cotton mill. Altough likes pull overs.

I hope they stick Coxy from 11pm til 1am three times a week. I would be gutted if she got one of the five main daytime ones (inc Zane Lowe). Id rather here Spoony than Cox so I hope she dont go on weekends either

With the R1 track record I think with the popular opinion being that it would be stupid could be an indication that it is entirely possible for them to do it.
